The new Tiger 800 arrives in dealerships

A Tiger in your tank?

Triumph’s latest Tiger 800 has arrived UK dealerships. The four distinctive model derivations, headed by the XRx and XCx, are designed to cover every base for both on and off-road biking.

The hardy adventure bike, comes in two distinct guises; giving riders more choice than ever on how (and where) they take their bike in 2015.  While the Tiger 800 XRx is ideal for road riding, the Tiger 800 XCx is packed with features that make it great for off-road riding.

This new Tiger 800 range places its emphasis on rider focused technology. Both the XRx and XCx  include cruise control and include a full Ride by Wire system that interacts with the ECU.

The Tiger’s 95PS three cylinder engine, provides the bike with a raft of changes brought in to reduce mechanical noise and boost the premium feel of the triple engine.

Alongside this, fuel consumption has been upped to a 270 mile tank range; a range increase of 40 miles compared to the outgoing Tiger 800.
