Royal Enfield - nearly 120 years old but with a new lease of life!

Royal Enfield Expansion

Royal Enfield are doing their best to do everything right and going forward on a global sticky situation! It's true that the company, like many others struggled in April, but due to the pandemic not their own failings, selling only 91 motorcycles. However they are not letting the Corona Virus situation slow them down and the company's CEO Vinod Dasari has great plans for Royal Enfield going forward.

Royal Enfield has a new initiative in the pipeline and plans to launch around four new motorcycles a year over the next few years – roughly one every quarter. And they won't just be a revamp of an old model, apparently they will be a real variant or almost a whole new model, so will be a really different and tempting new offer for the motorcycling public.

It's nice to see such a positive take on the difficult times we are living through and after all, as we all know, motorcycles are the way forward at the moment giving folks flexibility to get to their destinations quickly and safely without having to take public transport and possibly risk proximity to other people. Hence the current MCIA initiative to encourage motorcycling.

Royal Enfield has managed quite a feat staying in production since the 1950s manufacturing affordable and stylish motorcycles which have been perennially popular like the Continental GT and the Interceptor. Let's hope it works out well for this enterprising company.
