For the past five years, we've been designing and selling Festival of Jurby T-shirts, giving the profits to the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club. The club provides a helicopter ambulance response service on practice and race days for riders during the Manx Grand Prix. It also supports injured riders and their families.

For those who don't know, the Festival of Jurby was a one-day festival, which has taken place in the Isle of Man every year since 2009. 10,000 visitors would flock to the Jurby Airfield each Sunday late in August to celebrate classic motorcycling. They took part in parade laps, ogled at an array of beautiful machines and chatted with famous names.

We sponsored the festival and the VMCC organised it. But sadly, last year, the VMCC informed us they could no longer keep it running. The workload had gotten too big and the restrictions from the local government were increasing. There would be no more Jurby t-shirts, but we pledged to continue to sell a different themed t-shirt so we could keep supporting the MGPSC.

MGPSC fundraising to resume in coming years

We had the best intentions of this for the 2020 season, but then spring came and the Coronavirus stopped everything in its tracks. We want to make clear we wholeheartedly support the MGPSC's work and we wish to continue to help raise money for the club in future years. But, in light of recent events, we have made the decision to raise money for our fantastic NHS for this year instead, with a one-off fundraising t-shirt.

Introducing special 2020 one-off NHS fundraising t-shirt

The Motorcyclist t-shirt has been designed in-house and will sell for £10. The profits will go to the NHS Charities Together, or the Association of NHS Charities as it is formally known. It's a charity which is close to all our hearts and which, now more than ever, needs as much support as it can get.

NHS Charities Together is a collective which represents the 250 UK NHS charities. Every day it donates £1million to the NHS. The money will be used to help support our fantastic NHS nurses and to provide vital care to Covid-19 patients at a level that is above and beyond what the NHS can provide on its own.

So spread the word to friends and family and come get yourself a super-stylish £10 NHS fundraising t-shirt. Together we can help the NHS continue to provide a fantastic service to Covid-19 victims.
