Scotland's Glasgow Herald reports that Ewan McGregor - he of 'Long Way Round' fame and 'veteran' of fifty plus film roles - is selling one of the bikes from his collection at a Bonham's auction in Las Vegas on January 26th. Hurry and you might just get a flight.

Looking at pictures of his collection online, he has very eclectic taste in bikes, from cafe racers to Sunbeam. And he's now the face of Moto Guzzi, having had a long association with BMW for his two big road trips with Charlie Boorman.

The bike that's going under the hammer, so to speak, is a 2010 Indian Larry Panhead Chopper. The bike was built by Indian Larry Desmedt, a famed chopper builder located in Brooklyn NYC. It carries a Harley Panhead Pandemonium engine in what is said to be a sparse bare metal frame and cycle parts. It caught McGregor's eye when he visited the shop in 2012.

Indian Larry's bike models carry some great names. Sweet Marissa, Grease Monkey, Chain of Mystery, and Brooklyn Beatnik being just a sample. You can view more of his chopper designs at www.indianlarry.com

Oh, the guide price for the McGregors chopper, £18 - £21,000.
